ERICA L. TAYLOR, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Erica L. Taylor (a.k.a. Erica Taylor Davis) is Owner and Executive Producer of Taylor Productions, with 20 years of storytelling experience. She is an impact filmmaker, with a spiritual focus on projects that address significant issues effecting women and under-represented groups. Only six months into her career, Erica was promoted to national producer, on-air talent and co-writer for the award-winning Tom Joyner Morning Show. In 2011, she moved to LA to work in television. From 2011-2014, she produced the NAACP Award-winning shows Unsung and Unsung Hollywood by day and national syndicated radio by night. Erica produced The Invisible Vegan (2019) documentary examining veganism in the black community which led to her current project, Red alert: The Fight Against Fibroids aimed at giving visibility to the vast number of women suffering from uterine fibroid tumors. Erica is an advocate for reproductive health awareness under the Red Alert brand and is the National Ambassador for the Fibroid Fighters Foundation. In early 2022, she took on the role of Senior Story Producer for the new YO!MTV Raps (Paramount+). Erica has elected service on the Board of Directors for the Documentary Producers Alliance and is
Co-Chair of their Equity and Inclusion Committee. She is an active member of the Collin College Video Production Board in Dallas, on the Uterine Health Advisory Board for Myovant Sciences and Pfizer Inc., and is a member of Brown Girls Doc Mafia, The Video Consortium, the Global Leaders Organization, and the Global Impact Producers Alliance.
